Tandläkarbelysning

Say goodbye to eye strain and headaches.

Did you know that a dentist shifts focus between the brighter examination light and the surrounding room lighting approximately 1,000 times during a typical workday? The result is often eye strain and headaches. To achieve proper ambient lighting, you should have perimeter lighting providing between 3,000 and 5,000 lux. This improves concentration and reduces the risk of visual fatigue. Many clinics rely solely on general ceiling lighting, such as LED panels, which typically provide no more than around 1,000 lux. This is simply not sufficient.

Tandvårdsmiljö med D-TEC belysning

Optimal illumination, color rendering, and dynamic light.

With dental lighting from D-TEC, you can ensure illumination levels of 3,000–5,000 lux and outstanding color rendering with a CRI of 94—specifically designed for demanding professional environments. In addition to reducing the contrast between the treatment area and the surrounding room, we have integrated advanced lighting software that eliminates distractions such as shadows, flicker, and glare. The fact that you feel less fatigued at the end of the day is simply an added benefit. Our standard color temperature is 5700 K, but dynamic lighting is available as an option on our Leaf, Cloud, Clair och Brite Triton models. This allows you to adjust the color temperature from 3000 K to 5700 K and let the lighting mimic natural daylight throughout the day using a timer function. Lower energy costs and minimal maintenance.

Thanks to the integrated LED modules used in our dental lighting systems, we have been able to fully enclose the construction within a sealed aluminum housing. This prevents dirt and bacteria from entering the luminaire, creating a hygienic design that is easy to clean. Aluminum is also a recyclable material with excellent heat-dissipation properties. An aluminum construction helps minimize electrical and magnetic alternating fields within the workplace. In addition, our dental lighting is so energy-efficient that you can reduce energy consumption by up to 85% from day one. This results in lower operating costs and significantly reduced energy usage. Clair

Dynamic daylight function

With dimensions of 1530 × 670 mm, Clair is perfectly suited for examination rooms, beauty clinics, and dental practices. In addition to its impressive size, Clair features a dynamic daylight function that allows the light to mimic the sun’s natural color-temperature shifts throughout the day. During the morning, cooler light helps keep you alert and focused. As the day progresses, the lighting gradually transitions to a warmer tone, helping you unwind toward the end of the workday. In this way, your lighting helps prepare your body for a better night’s sleep – while you’re still at work.
