The goal when designing Clair was to create a large LED luminaire for clinical environments that delivers maximum illumination and exceptional color rendering. The result became so much more. Clair is a hygienic and energy-efficient luminaire that emits minimal radiant heat while providing optimal working light. Despite its size, its clean and refined appearance blends naturally into the surrounding environment. With the optional dynamic daylight feature, you can adjust the lighting to simulate natural daylight conditions. The ability to change the color temperature according to the natural shifts of daylight not only provides excellent task lighting but also creates a more pleasant atmosphere and working environment. Clair is ideal for medical environments, dental clinics, veterinary practices, and beauty clinics.

Our largest luminaire. Measuring 1530 × 670 mm, Clair is perfectly suited for examination rooms, beauty clinics, and dental practices. In addition to its impressive size, Clair features a dynamic daylight function that allows the light to mimic the sun’s natural color-temperature changes throughout the day. The Dynamic Light feature makes it easy to adjust the balance between warm and cool light according to your needs. Warm light creates an inviting and comfortable atmosphere, while cool light provides clearer and more precise illumination – ideal for treatments where high light intensity is essential. When AUTO mode is activated, the warm light slowly and almost imperceptibly changes in intensity and tone, creating subtle variations that mirror the natural shifts of sunlight throughout the day.

Hygiene taken to the next level
For nearly all our customers, hygiene is a key factor. In demanding environments, every component must help prevent contamination and the spread of infection. Clair is built with this in mind. Its upper housing is made entirely of aluminum, and the luminaire is fully sealed to prevent dirt and dust from entering. This makes it hygienic, durable, and easy to clean.
Control everything with the touch of a button
The included remote control features dimming functionality and two programmable quick-access buttons that can be configured for tasks such as X-ray viewing or composite work. If you have selected the dynamic lighting option, you can also adjust the color temperature directly from the remote control.
Rich illumination for clinical environments
Place one hand ten centimeters above the other while standing beneath Clair. You will notice that the upper hand does not cast a shadow on the lower one. In fact, this applies to all D-TEC luminaires. The light from Clair is projected from the luminaire frame toward light-distributing prisms rather than directly downward. As a result, you never see individual light sources – instead, you experience smooth, uniform, shadow-free illumination. Ingenious, if you ask us.

Dynamic daylight and indirect lighting.
The indirect upward-facing light is softly reflected across the ceiling and onto vertical surfaces, creating a brighter and more harmonious environment. The room feels larger, softer, and more welcoming, helping to improve the overall patient experience. At the same time, the lighting promotes visual comfort and well-being while effectively illuminating rooms up to approximately 15 m².
Shadow-free lighting
Hundreds of small LEDs work together with integrated microprisms to distribute light evenly across the workspace. This minimizes shadows, creating a more comfortable working environment and reducing the risk of mistakes.
Glare-free comfort
The light panel and microprisms diffuse the light in Clair and eliminate glare. This improves both ergonomics and work quality. In addition, patients experience a more comfortable treatment environment.
Low energy consumption
LED technology naturally delivers low energy consumption. Beyond the LEDs themselves, Clair is optimized to maximize light output through an advanced combination of reflectors, diffusing panels, and microprisms.
Minimal heat emission
The cooling aluminum construction combined with advanced LED technology ensures minimal heat radiation in the working environment.
